Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (juice of about ½ a medium lemon)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine: Add all the ingredients to a small bowl.
  • Whisk: Whisk until the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Serve: Enjoy over a green salad, grain bowl, or veggies, or mixed with chilled pasta. You can also use it as a marinade for tofu, canned beans, or veggies.

Notes

  • Italian dressing will keep well in the fridge for 3 to 4 days. Shake or stir well before using.
